To mark the opening of a major conference, PG with aNd Logistix, helped guests escape to an underwater adventure!
The Ripley’s Aquarium was a fitting place for this corporate celebration. Surrounded by stunning aquatic animals and reefs, attendees could relax and enjoy the great food and service.
To get their feet wet, guests were welcomed with modernist cocktails and hors d’oeuvres including our infamous Watermelon Margarita and Portobello Poké.
In the further depths of the Aquarium, a superb selection of food stations awaited. This began with a Steam Bun Station serving pulled pork and teriyaki tofu with vegetables.
The Savoury Pop-Tart, Japanese Tsukiji Market, Thai Mango Salad and Maple Candied Muskoka Trout Stations were next in the line up. The unique, bold flavours of each were a definite crowd pleaser and had guests coming back for seconds!
As a sweet surprise, Plankies were served at Ray Bay; a smoked Twinkie flavoured with bourbon, toasted marshmallow and maple chocolate ganache…and let’s not forget the velvety smooth bites of Salted Dark Chocolate Crémeux and candied beets and olive oil caviar.
For a fun twist, Edible Helium-Filled Balloons were made on the spot for guests to have a chance to play with their food. It was a fantastic way to end the night with a splash!
